cDear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Our hearts enfold the people of Ukraine and the Russians caught up in this tragic conflict. An Orthodox nation wages war against another Orthodox nation; brothers and sisters in Christ on both sides are now forced to fight against each other. It is a great tragedy and heralds greater conflicts to come in the century which we hoped might be one of peace rather than a continuation of the warfare of the last century. We must hold all in our prayers and pray for overcoming of hatred on this day our scripture readings are from St John’s letter of love and on the feast of St John the baptist and forerunner who called all to repentance. May God and Our Lady give protection and bring peace. Fr David

Please can the Russian Orthodox Church call on Putin to withdraw and leave the Ukrainian People to choose their own path.

This Parish is not part of the Russian Orthodox Church and we have no association with Patriarch Kyrill of Moscow; indeed he has forbidden us to be in communion with him.
